CANADIAN SPORT SCHOOL INFORMATION NIGHT

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017

Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence Building (PISE)

4371 Interurban Rd Victoria, BC V9E 2C5

6:30 - 8:00pm

It is mandatory for all applicants, plus at least one parent or guardian to be present at the information night. If a parent/guardian is unavailable to attend the info night, we ask that they schedule a time to come in and meet with CSS Staff before the application deadline. Because of the nature of the CSS program which involves coordinating many aspects of the student-athlete's life (ie. transportation, class scheduling, graduation planning etc.) it is imperative that parents are fully engaged proactively with a strong understanding of how our program operates.

The Canadian Sport School is an important initiative of the Canadian Sport Institute, delivered in partnership with the PacificSport Centres. With campuses located in Victoria, Kelowna and Prince George this program provides athletic and academic support for secondary student athletes who are balancing their educational and high performance training demands. The Canadian Sport School helps to alleviate the pressures experienced by high performance secondary school athletes and ensure that our future Olympians and National Team members have all the skills and resources needed to continue to progress as high performance athletes, while excelling both on the playing field and in the classroom.
